| dc.description | Abuse can occur through different forms, physical, verbal, economic and psychological, the latter being the one that has the greatest impact on the person, influencing their belief system and establishing or making the victim believe that they are guilty or deserving of what happens to them, in this sense, psychological abuse directly affects the self-esteem of the person, therefore it is important to understand that beyond the physical repercussions or stressful situations, the emotional damage that is externalized must be considered through the revictimization that the patient denotes in the behavior, therefore this case presents as a theme "Psychological abuse and its repercussion on self-esteem in a 28-year-old woman from the city of Quevedo" whose objective is to determine the psychological abuse and its repercussion on the patient's self-esteem, for this it was necessary to implement techniques for the collection of information in addition to being n necessary to carry out the psychological intervention both in the evaluation and in the elaboration of the therapeutic plan, in addition that it was possible to conclude with the fulfillment of the objective of the case study | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El maltrato se puede dar por medio de diferentes formas, físicas, verbal, económica y de manera psicológica, siendo este último el que mayor repercusión tiene en la persona influyendo en su sistema de creencias y estableciendo o haciendo creer a la victima de esta que es culpable o merecedora de lo que le sucede, en este sentido el maltrato psicológico incide directamente en la autoestima de la persona, por ende es importante entender que más allá de las repercusiones físicas o las situaciones estresantes, se debe considerar el daño emocional que se exterioriza por medio de la revictimización que denota en la conducta la paciente, por ende este caso presenta como tema “Maltrato psicológico y su repercusión en la autoestima en una mujer de 28 años de la ciudad de Quevedo” que tiene como objetivo determinar el maltrato psicológico y su repercusión en la autoestima de la paciente, para esto fue necesario la implementación de técnicas para la recolección de la información además de ser necesario realizar la intervención psicológica tanto en la evaluación como en la elaboración del plan terapéutico, además que se pudo concluir con el cumplimiento del objetivo del estudio de caso | es_ES |
