| dc.description | In the present case study, the subject of family conflict and its influence on depression was discussed in a 68-year-old adult from the Buena Fe canton, Los Ríos province, from which it was possible to collect the necessary data for its elaboration, through of interviews and a psychological instrument such as the Beck Depression Inventory, which was performed on the patient, whose result was mild depressive disorder. It should be noted that family conflicts often cause certain disorders, such as depression, which entails a series of negative conceptions of oneself, the world, and the future. For which, a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapeutic scheme was carried out on the patient so that she regains her emotional stability, enjoys good self-esteem and mental health in general. This was carried out through a therapeutic scheme from the cognitive behavioral approach and it is established so that the patient, with the help of a professional, can carry it out through the sessions. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente caso de estudio se trató el tema Conflicto familiar y su influencia en la depresión en un adulto de 68 años de edad del cantón Buena Fe, provincia de los Ríos, del cual se pudo recopilar los datos necesarios para su elaboración, a través de entrevistas e instrumento psicológico como el Inventario de Depresión de Beck, que se le realizó a la paciente, cuyo resultado obtenido fue trastorno depresivo leve. Cabe recalcar que los conflictos familiares muchas veces ocasionan ciertos trastornos, como es el caso de la depresión que conlleva una serie de concepciones negativas de sí mismo, del mundo y del futuro. Para lo cual, se efectuó en la paciente un esquema psicoterapéutico de corte cognitivo conductual para que retome su estabilidad emocional, goce de buena autoestima y salud mental en general. Esto se llevó cabo mediante un esquema terapéutico desde el enfoque cognitivo conductual y queda establecido para que el paciente, con la ayuda de un profesional, pueda llevarlo a cabo a través de las sesiones. | es_ES |
