| dc.description | The objective of this case study is to determine the emotional impact caused by a rape in a 15-year-old adolescent from the Puebloviejo canton, in order to expose the relevant aspects of how the mental health of the adolescent is altered. . Evidencing signs and symptoms that are evolving in the adolescent and this generates a depressive picture on it according to the results that were obtained with the respective report of the clinical history, where all the relevant information is presented. In this case study, techniques such as the interview, the adolescent's clinical history, and psychometric tests were used, including the Beck depression inventory, the hopelessness scale test, and the social skills evolution test. where it was possible to verify a level of severe depression, therefore the high hopelessness level in terms of social skills presents a low level, obtaining as results in the assessment of the adolescent with a severe depressive disorder without psychotic symptoms, therefore a favorable prognosis for reasons that the patient of her own free will made the decision to improve. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto emocional a causa de una violación sexual en un adolescente de 15 años de edad, del cantón Puebloviejo, con el fin de exponer los aspectos relevantes de como se ve alterada la salud mental de la adolescente. Evidenciando signos y síntomas que van evolucionando en la adolescente y esto genera un cuadro depresivo sobre la misma según los resultados que se lograron obtener con el respectivo informe de la historia clínica, donde se presenta toda la información relevante. En este estudio de caso se dio uso de técnicas como la entrevista, historia clínica de la adolescente, y pruebas psicométricas, entre ellas esta el inventario de depresión de Beck, el test de la escala de desesperanza y el test de evolución de habilidades sociales, donde se logró constatar un nivel de depresión grave, por consiguiente el nivel desesperanza alta en cuanto a las habilidades sociales presenta un nivel bajo, obteniendo como resultados en la valoración de la adolescente con un trastorno depresivo grave sin síntomas psicóticos por ende un pronóstico favorable por motivos de que la paciente por voluntad propia tomó la decisión de mejorar. | es_ES |
