dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso tiene como tema “Pensamiento negativo y su incidencia en el área emocional en un joven de 20 años oriundo de Babahoyo” donde la primera variable se enfoca en los diversos pensamientos o ideas negativas que surgen de forma automática ante cualquier circunstancia del diario vivir, mientras que la segunda variable se direcciona hacia el área emocional que se ve afectada por el negativismo que tiene un sujeto sobre sí mismo generando ansiedad, por lo cual se procede a evaluar al paciente utilizando una serie de técnicas psicológicas para obtener información del paciente, entre ellas la observación clínica, la entrevista semiestructurada, la historia clínica y los test psicométricos, siendo utilizados el Inventario de Ansiedad de Beck (BAI), la Escala de Hamilton para Ansiedad, lo cual permito tener el diagnóstico presuntivo según el DSM-V presenta (300.02) Trastorno de ansiedad generalizada y basado en la CIE-10 (F41.1) Trastorno de ansiedad generalizada, se implementó un tratamiento con la Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual de Aaron Beck, aplicando diversas técnicas como la Psicoeducación, Diferenciando hechos, pensamientos y sentimientos, Explicar cómo los pensamientos crean sentimientos, Examinando evidencias, Generar una explicación alternativa, Respiración en 4 tiempos y Relajación pasiva para así ir cambiando los pensamientos negativos e impregnar un pensamiento alternativo y mejorar la salud del sujeto.es_ES
