| dc.description | This case study is aimed at analyzing and investigating parental neglect and behavioral problems in adolescents. Omissions and neglect in parental care are part of the predisposing factors and a precipitating event of psychological and behavioral disorders in the 15-year-old adolescent patient. The consequences of parental neglect on the adolescent's behavior are internalized as depression, somatic problems, self-inflicted injuries and suicidal ideation. As well as externalized problems, such as antisocial behavior, drug use, aggressive behavior and disorders such as oppositional defiant disorder. For this reason, it was pertinent to use a quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodology, through clinical observation, interview, clinical history and psychometric reagents. The instruments applied were the Childhood Depression Questionnaire (CDI), the SACKS incomplete sentences test and the SNAP-IV questionnaire. The results obtained allowed determining the presumptive diagnosis of oppositional defiant behavior disorder 313.81, in addition to depressive symptomatology. Therefore, the treatment was carried out from the cognitive-behavioral approach, where techniques and procedures were used, including social skills training, breathing techniques, behavioral activation, cognitive restructuring and problem-solving therapy. | dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso se direcciona al análisis e indagación de la negligencia parental y los problemas de conducta en adolescentes. Las omisiones y abandono en el cuidado parental son parte de los factores predisponentes y un evento precipitante de trastornos psicológicos y conductuales en la paciente adolescente de 15 años. Las consecuencias de la negligencia parental en la conducta del adolescente, son internalizados como depresión, problemas somáticos, lesiones autoinflingidas e ideación suicida. Al igual que problemas externalizados, como conductas antisociales, consumo de drogas, conductas agresivas y trastornos como el negativista desafiante. Por ello, fue pertinente la evaluación con metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa, a través de la observación clínica, entrevista, historia clínica y reactivos psicométricos. Los instrumentos aplicados fueron el cuestionario de depresión infantil (CDI), test de frases incompletas de SACKS y el cuestionario SNAP-IV. Los resultados obtenidos permitió determinar el diagnostico presuntivo de trastornos conductual negativista desafiante 313.81, además de sintomatología depresiva. Por lo tanto, el tratamiento se realizó desde el enfoque cognitivo conductual, donde se emplearon técnicas y procedimientos, entre las que destaca entrenamiento en habilidades sociales, técnicas de respiración activación conductual, restructuración cognitiva y terapia de resolución de problemas. Con el propósito de trabajar en la actitud desafiante, desobediente y conducta agresiva que provoca problemas en la interacción con los demás. | es_ES |
