dc.descriptionThe patient is a 47-year-old woman, weighs 70 kg and her height is 1.55 meters. The patient was diagnosed with Diabetes 4 years ago, and Sjögren's syndrome presented it 5 months ago. He went to the Martín Icaza General Hospital in the city of Babahoyo, to the emergency room, because he presented symptoms, such as paleness, blindness, dryness, hair loss and fainting. Therefore, he has no established treatment or to control his pathology, in terms of biochemical tests, his glycosylated hemoglobin values are outside normal parameters, which shows us that the user has uncontrolled type 2 diabetes. The general objective of my project was to establish a nutritional care process in the female patient according to the nutritional needs that the patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus will require, observation, cross-sectional and descriptive methods were used to generate the clinical case for the female patient. In the present study that was carried out on a 47-year-old female patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus and sjögren's syndrome, where it was determined that due to the bad eating habits that the patient had had, he had produced the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus. II, for which a personalized eating plan was carried out, in the follow-up of the case he was able to regulate his glucose a little, but due to his habits, an optimal result was not achieved.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl paciente es una mujer de 47 años, pesa 70 kg y su talla es de 1.55 metros. La paciente fue diagnosticada con Diabetes hace 4 años, y el síndrome de Sjögren lo presenta hace 5 meses. Acude al hospital general Martín Icaza de la ciudad de Babahoyo, a urgencias, porque presenta síntomas, como palidez, ceguera, sequedad, caída del cabello y desmayo. Por lo tanto no tiene tratamiento establecido ni para controlar su patología, en cuanto a pruebas bioquímicas sus valores de hemoglobina glicosilada están fuera de los parámetros normales, lo que nos manifiesta que el usuario tiene una diabetes tipo 2 no controlada. El objetivo general de mi proyecto fue establecer un proceso de atención nutricional en el paciente femenino acorde a las necesidades nutricionales que requerirá el paciente con diabetes mellitus tipo 2, se utilizaron métodos de observación, trasversales y descriptivos para generar el caso clínico al paciente femenino. En el presente estudio que se le realizo al paciente femenino de 47 años de edad con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 y síndrome de sjögren donde se determino que debido a los malos hábitos alimenticios que el paciente ah llevado le ah producido el desarrollo de la diabetes mellitus tipo II, por lo que se le realizo un plan alimenticio personalizado, en el seguimiento del caso se le logro regular un poco la glucosa, pero debido a sus hábitos, no se logro un optimo resultado.es_ES
