| dc.description | In the following investigation, a case study is presented that aims to establish the incidence of negative thoughts on self-esteem, which has been carried out in an 18-year-old adolescent from the city of Babahoyo due to the fact that he presents cognitive impairments which they affect their interpersonal relationships, daily activities and their socio-environmental development. For the location of the presumed diagnosis Moderate depressive episode, criteria to be met from the manual for the classification of mental and behavioral disorders (ICD-10) were considered, in addition, different psychometric instruments were used, which will provide us with quantitative data of the patient such as the Beck inventory. which provided us with information on the patient's emotional state, the Ruiz and Lujan automatic thought inventory for the classification of the patient's automatic thoughts, the Hamilton anxiety test to find out how often our patient feels anxiety and finally the ruiz self-esteem test Therefore, and based on the affected areas of the patient, a psychotherapeutic scheme was proposed with different techniques under the approach of cognitive behavioral therapy as a possible solution to the patient's problem. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En la siguiente investigación se presenta un estudio de caso que tiene por objetivo establecer la incidencia que tienen los pensamientos negativos en la autoestima, mismo que se lo llevó a cabo en una adolescente de 18 años de la ciudad de Babahoyo debido que presenta afectaciones cognitivas las cuales repercuten en sus relaciones interpersonales, actividades cotidianas y en su desenvolvimiento socio-ambiental. Para la ubicación del presunto diagnóstico Episodio depresivo moderado se consideraron criterios a cumplir del manual de clasificación de los trastornos mentales y del comportamiento (CIE-10), además se emplearon diferentes instrumentos psicométricos los cuales nos proporcionaron datos cuantitativos de la paciente como el inventario de Beck que nos proporcionó información del estado emocional de la paciente, el inventario de pensamientos automáticos de Ruiz y Lujan para la clasificación de los pensamientos automáticos de la paciente, el test de ansiedad de Hamilton para conocer con qué frecuencia aprecia ansiedad nuestra paciente y por último el test de autoestima de Ruiz. Por lo consiguiente y en base a las áreas afectadas de la paciente se planteó un esquema psicoterapéutico con distintas técnicas bajo el enfoque de la terapia cognitivo conductual como una posible solución ante la problemática de la paciente. | es_ES |
