dc.descriptionThis research aims to demonstrate that E-learning can serve as a support mechanism to improve the learning of students at the La Ronda Educational Unit, located in the Babahoyo Canton of the Province of Los Ríos; therefore, it seeks to demonstrate the effectiveness of E-learning in the teaching-learning process of students by improving their grades and the satisfaction of both students and teachers. The research found that most students have regular access to electronic devices with internet, which makes them suitable to use internet platforms to support their learning; in addition, teachers expressed interest in using this type of tools in the classroom in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of this tool resulted in a significant improvement in student learning, as evidenced by the comparison of the grades obtained in the previous period; therefore, both students and teachers expressed their satisfaction with the use of the platform, finding it useful for learning and teaching, respectively. However, despite the benefits offered by E-learning, some challenges were identified in its implementation; in this sense, it is required to improve Internet connectivity and provide additional training to students and teachers, in order to ensure the effective use of this mechanism; in short, although the same can be an effective tool to support student learning, it is essential to address these challenges and provide adequate training to users.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación pretende demostrar que el E-learning puede servir como un mecanismo de apoyo para mejorar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa La Ronda, ubicada en el Cantón Babahoyo de la Provincia de Los Ríos; por consiguiente, se busca evidenciar la eficacia del E-learning en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los estudiantes mediante la mejora en sus calificaciones y en la satisfacción tanto de los estudiantes como de los docentes. En la investigación se encontró que la mayoría de los estudiantes tienen acceso regular a dispositivos electrónicos con internet, lo que los hace idóneos para utilizar plataformas de la misma y así apoyar su aprendizaje; además, los docentes manifestaron interés en utilizar herramientas de este tipo en el aula con el fin de mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza y del aprendizaje. Los resultados del estudio revelaron que la implementación de esta herramienta resultó en una mejora significativa en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, como se evidencia en la comparación de las calificaciones obtenidas en el período anterior; por lo tanto, los estudiantes como los docentes expresaron su satisfacción con el uso de la plataforma, al encontrarla útil para el aprendizaje y la enseñanza, respectivamente. No obstante, a pesar de los beneficios que ofrece el E-learning, se identificaron algunos desafíos en su implementación; en este sentido, se requiere mejorar la conectividad a Internet y proporcionar capacitación adicional a los estudiantes y docentes, con el fin de asegurar el uso efectivo de este mecanismo; en resumen, aunque la misma puede ser una herramienta efectiva para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, es fundamental abordar estos desafíos y proporcionar una capacitación adecuada a los usuarios.es_ES
