dc.descriptionIn this document we want to collect information on the agronomic management of the blueberry crop (Vaccinium corymbosum L) in Ecuador. In Ecuador, the blueberry crop has not been exploited by small and medium farmers in rural areas, due to the lack of knowledge they have regarding agronomic management and the nutritional requirement of the crop, therefore they have not been able to reach the high level of performance. Given the need to increase production in this crop, the generation of agricultural practices is required in which the correct management of water and soil is taken into account, without having negative impacts on the vegetative and productive development of the Blueberry crop. The present investigative document presented as a practical component, was developed through the collection of all kinds of information, carrying out a detailed investigation in the different free access web pages, scientific articles, degree theses, sources and bibliographic documentation available on different platforms. digital. The main findings were that blueberries are harvested manually without spoiling the fruit, it can be harvested up to 8 times from the same plant. Blueberries have vitamins C, fiber and are rich in natural pigments (anthocyanins and carotenoids) with antioxidant properties. They are used in human health to stimulate bone formation, red blood cells, resistance to infection, or other benefits. It was concluded that agronomic management is a fundamental activity in blueberry cultivation since it directly influences the yield and quality standards of the fruit, therefore it is important to know the phenological stages of the crop so that the execution of these tasks is carried out in the precise and opportune moment. Among the tasks of the crop are planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pest control, etc.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente documento se quiere Describir el manejo agronómico del cultivo de Arándanos (Vaccinium corymbosum L) en el Ecuador. En el país, el cultivo de Arándano no ha sido explotado por los pequeños y medianos agricultores de las zonas rurales, debido al desconocimiento que tienen con respecto al manejo agronómico y el requerimiento nutricional del cultivo, por lo tanto, no han podido alcanzar el alto nivel de rendimiento. Dada la necesidad de incrementar la producción en este cultivo, se requiere la generación de prácticas agrícolas en las que se tome en cuenta el manejo correcto del agua y suelo, sin que tengan impactos negativos en el desarrollo vegetativo y productivo del cultivo de Arándano. El presente documento investigativo presentado como componente práctico, se desarrolló a través de la recopilación de todo tipo de información, realizando una detallada investigación en las distintas páginas web de libre acceso, artículos científicos, tesis de grado, fuentes y documentaciones bibliográficas disponibles en distintas plataformas digitales. Los principales hallazgos fueron que los arándanos son cosechados de forma manual sin estropear la fruta, se puede cosechar hasta 8 veces de la misma planta. El arándano tiene vitaminas C, fibras y son ricas en pigmentos naturales (antocianinas y carotenoides) con propiedades antioxidantes. Se usan en la salud humana para estimular la formación de los huesos, glóbulos rojos, resistencia a infecciones u otros beneficios. Se concluyó que el manejo agronómico es una actividad fundamental en el cultivo de arándano ya que influye directamente en los estándares de rendimiento y calidad del fruto, por lo tanto, es importante conocer las etapas fenológicas del cultivo para que la ejecución de estas labores se realice en el momento preciso y oportuno. Entre las labores del cultivo esta la siembra, el riego, la fertilización, la poda, control de plagas, etc.es_ES
