dc.descriptionLettuce (Lactuca sativa), is considered a crop of great importance because it is consumed fresh, the consumption of hydroponic crops has become one of the main keys for the future, because it provides safe and nutritious food, currently it is an excellent alternative for families that live in different parts of the world, mainly those that live in urban areas. The objective of this work was to evaluate the feasibility study to implement the production and consumption of hydroponic crops in lettuce in the San Juan parish, the information was obtained through surveys where it was used as data collection techniques, the survey, interviews, training to the families of the San Juan parish where it was carried out with a sample of 97 families, the formula proposed by Scheaffer was used and the Infostat statistical package was applied for the data processing and the Microsoft Excel program for the tables. Having as a result that most of the Families that live in the San Juan Parish maintain a low level of knowledge about hydroponic crops, both in their production and consumption, after field work in the San Juan Parish, it was It is clear that the inhabitants in general opt for the consumption of vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, cucumber and pepper, therefore, if they can carry out hydroponic crops in vegetables such as lettuce, since this is consumed by 30% of the families surveyed.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa lechuga (Lactuca sativa), es considerado un cultivo de gran importancia debido a que se consume en fresco, el consumo de cultivos hidropónicos se ha convertido una de las principales claves para el futuro, porque proporciona alimentos seguros y nutritivos, en la actualidad es una excelente alternativa para las familias que habitan en diferentes partes del mundo, principalmente las que habitan en sectores urbanos. El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar el estudio para implementar la producción y consumo de cultivos hidropónicos en lechuga en la parroquia San Juan, del Cantón Pueblo viejo la información se obtuvo mediante encuestas donde se utilizó como técnicas de recolección de datos, la encuesta, entrevistas, capacitaciones a las familias de la parroquia San Juan donde se realizó con una muestra de 97 familias, se utilizó la formula propuesta por Scheaffer y para el procesamiento de datos se aplicó el paquete estadístico Infostat y para las tablas el programa Microsoft Excel. Teniendo como resultado que la mayor parte de las Familias que habitan en la Parroquia de San Juan mantienen un bajo nivel de conocimiento acerca de los cultivos hidropónicos, tanto en su producción como en consumo, luego del trabajo de campo en la Parroquia San Juan, quedó claro que los habitantes en general optan por el consumo hortalizas como el tomate lechuga, pepino y el pimiento, por lo tanto, si pueden realizar cultivos hidropónicos en hortalizas como la lechuga ya que esta la consume el 30% de las familias encuestadas.es_ES
