dc.descriptionThe use of drug "h" is a problem that grows over time and mainly affects children and adolescents. In Ecuador, the growth of the consumption of this drug is alarming and it is not something that only happens in the country, because it is a phenomenon that affects the world. For this reason, the present case study was carried out with the objective of analyzing the incidence that the consumption of "h" has on the mental health of a 20-year-old adolescent in the city of Quevedo and providing psychological strategies that help young consumers. to improve the quality of life. The research is carried out through mixed methodology, because techniques that allow the collection of both qualitative and quantitative data were used. The methods are: clinical and psychometric. On the other hand, the techniques used are: semi-structured interview, clinical observation, clinical history, scale (ASSIST V3.0), Beck depression inventory and H.T.P. The results of the investigation indicate that the patient meets the diagnostic criteria according to DSM-5 for a disorder belonging to the group of depressive disorders. The young man's symptoms have an evolution period of two months. In conclusion, the consumption of "h" influences the mental health of the 20-year-old, causing alterations that produce signs and symptoms in the subject that affects the quality of life at the family, school, social level, among other important areas in the person's life.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl consumo de la droga “h” es un problema que crece con el transcurso del tiempo y que afecta principalmente a niños y adolescentes. En el Ecuador el crecimiento del consumo de esta droga es alarmante y no se trata de algo que solo sucede en el país, debido a que es un fenómeno que afecta a nivel mundial. Por tal razón, se realizó el presente estudio de caso con el objetivo de analizar la incidencia que tiene el consumo de “h” en la salud mental de un adolescente de 20 años en la ciudad de Quevedo y brindar estrategias psicológicas que ayuden a jóvenes consumidores a mejorar la calidad de vida. La investigación es llevada a cabo por medio de la metodología mixta, debido a que se utilizaron técnicas que permiten la recolección de datos tanto cualitativos como cuantitativos. Los métodos son: clínico y psicométrico. Por otra parte, las técnicas utilizadas son: entrevista semiestructurada, observación clínica, historia clínica, escala (ASSIST V3.0), inventario de depresión de Beck y H.T.P. Los resultados de la investigación indican que el paciente cumple con los criterios diagnósticos de acuerdo al DSM-5 para un trastorno perteneciente al grupo de trastornos depresivos Los síntomas del joven tienen un período de evolución de dos meses. En conclusión, el consumo de “h” influye en la salud mental del joven de 20 años, provocándole alteraciones que producen en el sujeto signos y síntomas que afecta la calidad de vida a nivel familiar, escolar, social, entre otros ámbitos importantes en la vida de la persona.es_ES
