| dc.description | This research project is a document about the sociocultural impacts generated by tourist activities in the city of Quevedo, because tourism in the city is currently in constant growth and a written support of the benefits and possible actions is necessary. that should be considered to take advantage of this situation among citizens. To obtain information, techniques and tools were applied to obtain data and verified information, using surveys applied to a sample of the Quevedeña population, allowing direct knowledge of their perception of tourism in the city, as well as the formulation of interviews. to the head of tourism and to owners of localities destined to the conservation of the typical and traditional food of Quevedo. Tourism is a phenomenon that has been strengthened over the years with increasing intensity and emerging in a greater number of destinations around the world. It can be understood as a set of activities carried out by human beings while traveling and staying in places other than their usual environment, for leisure, work or other reasons. In addition, it is an economic activity that has an impact on society, not only because of its economic activity but also because of the large number of people who carry it out and because of its wide geographical distribution. It can be concluded that the sociocultural impacts generated by tourist activities in the city of Quevedo are positive with the generation of employment, infrastructure conservation and negative, such as the lack of security in tourist towns and the conservation of typical gastronomy, due to this arises the approach of proposals for the generation of employment through the expansion of services in existing tourist resources such as the river. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación es un documento acerca de los impactos socioculturales generados por las actividades turísticas en la ciudad de Quevedo, debido a que actualmente se encuentra en constante crecimiento el turismo en la ciudad y resulta necesario un soporte escrito de los beneficios y posibles acciones que se deben considerar para aprovechar esta situación entre los ciudadanos. Para la obtención de información se aplicaron técnicas y herramientas para la obtención de datos e información verificada, utilizando para ello encuestas aplicadas a una muestra de la población Quevedeña permitiendo conocer de forma directa su percepción del turismo en la ciudad, así como la formulación de entrevistas al jefe de turismo y a propietarios de localidades destinadas a la conservación de la comida típica y tradicional de Quevedo. El turismo es un fenómeno que se ha fortalecido a lo largo de los años cada vez con una mayor intensidad y surgiendo en un mayor número de destinos alrededor del mundo. Puede entenderse como un conjunto de actividades que realiza el ser humano mientras viaja y permanece en lugares distintos a su entorno habitual, con fines de ocio, trabajo u otros motivos. Además, es una actividad económica que tiene un impacto en la sociedad, no solo por su actividad económica sino también por la gran cantidad de personas que lo realizan y por su amplia distribución geográfica. Se puede concluir que los impactos socioculturales generados por las actividades turísticas en la ciudad de Quevedo son positivos con la generación de empleo, la conservación de infraestructura y negativos como la falta de seguridad en las localidades turísticas y de conservación de la gastronómica típica, debido a ello surge el planteamiento de propuestas para la generación de empleo mediante la ampliación de servicios en los recursos turísticos existentes como lo es el Río. | es_ES |
