This investigative compilation was developed with the purpose of establishing information on the efficacy of fungicides for fruit crown rot (Colletotrichum musae) of Banana (Musa AAA). The main method of combating Colletotrichum spp is the use of synthetic chemicals. Fungicide resistance and regulatory pressure on pesticide residues and human health concerns are increasing. It was determined that fruit crown rot (Colletotrichum musae) develops especially in banana fruits, causing black or brown spots on their crown and that it occurs quickly in tropical areas with temperatures between 25 -30 0C; before the attack of the pathogen, the fruits cannot be commercialized, generating economic losses to the banana farmers; Farmers combat fruit crown rot by mixing fungicides from various chemical classes with aluminum ammonium sulfate. These fungicides include thiabendazole, imazalil, myclobutanil and azoxystrobin, which are used before packaging bananas and the results of research on various biological and botanical controls regarding Colletotrichum musae in bananas have not shown a favorable response, even proving the efficacy of chemical fungicides.es_ES
