dc.descriptionThe present case study refers to the nutritional care process in a 48 year old male patient who came to a consultation for abdominal pain, two days old, located at the level of the center of the abdomen and aims to improve their nutritional status. The respective nutritional assessment was carried out and we found that he has a BMI of 17.3 evidencing a low weight (malnutrition), in addition to biochemical values altered with a diagnosis of mild-moderate acute pancreatitis, for which we proceeded to refer the patient to the nutritionist. The patient was given his eating plan and proceeded to work together with the specialized doctors, in addition to giving the patient his personalized diet so that he can improve his condition. Then the respective follow-up and monitoring was carried out to check if there is improvement. The personalized dietotherapeutic plan is 2000 kcal a day, a low-fat diet, with enough fiber, protein and complex carbohydrates, so that you have a healthy weight and do not have an excessive intake of food.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso hace referencia acerca del proceso de atención nutricional en paciente masculino de 48 años de edad que acudió a consulta por dolor abdominal, de dos días de evolución, localizado a nivel del centro del abdomen y tiene como objetivo mejorar su estado nutricional. Se le realizó la respectiva valoración nutricional y encontramos que tiene un IMC de 17.3 evidenciando un bajo peso (malnutrición), además de valores bioquímicos alterados con un diagnóstico de pancreatitis aguda leve-moderada, por lo cual se procedió derivar al paciente a la nutricionista. Se elaboro al paciente su plan de alimentación y se procedió a trabajaren conjunto con los médicos especializados, además de entregarle al paciente su dieta personalizada para que pueda mejorar su estado. Luego se realizó el respectivo seguimiento y monitoreo para comprobar que si hay mejoría. El plan dietoterapéutico personalizado es de 2000 kcal al día, una dieta hipograsa, con suficiente fibra, proteína y carbohidratos complejos, para que así tenga un peso saludable y no tenga una ingesta excesiva de alimentos.es_ES
