Overinformation generates misinformation that consists of the sender's intention to persuade by deceiving their receivers, with the purpose of directing or controlling their behavior so that they act oriented to the convenience of the misinformer. Within the Babahoyo canton, overinformation can be good and is generated day by day, through digital media through social networks such as: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, among others, which has influenced the community; causing economic, social, cultural and psychological changes; The population is exposed to "infoxication" and daily error, due to the false news that spreads within the community. Social networks are the main digital media in which the greatest amount of information is generated, that is, information or infoxication among those preferred by users of the Babahoyo canton are: Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Finally, it was concluded that, despite the great fight against disinformation by Facebook, these formats are still used by several users.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste estudio de caso se enfoca en la Repercusión Social por la sobreinformación en el cantón Babahoyo. La sobreinformación también se conoce como infoxicación o infobesidad, consiste en el exceso de fuentes de información que se encuentran disponibles y se pueden consultar ilimitadamente, cabe indicar, que algunas proceden de fuentes confiables, por lo que es posible encontrar información de calidad o carente de esta. La sobreinformación es causante del síndrome de fatiga informativa y puede afectar la calidad y cantidad de sueño; sin importar el tipo de información; hay que considerar que las noticias negativas inducen más preocupación lo que aumenta la tensión mental; el exceso de información no ayuda, sino distorsiona. La sobreinformación genera desinformación que consiste en la intención que tiene el emisor para persuadir engañando a sus receptores, con el propósito de dirigir o controlar el comportamiento de estos para que actúen orientados a la conveniencia del desinformante. Dentro del cantón Babahoyo la sobreinformación puede ser buena y se genera día a día, a través de los medios digitales a través de redes sociales como: Facebook, Instragram, WhatsApp, entre otros, lo que ha influido en la comunidad; provocando cambios económicos, sociales, culturales y psicológicos; la población se encuentra expuesta a la “infoxicación” y el desacierto diario, debido a las falsas noticias que se propagan dentro de la comunidad. Las redes sociales son los principales medios digitales en los que se generan la mayor cantidad de información, es decir, sobre información o infoxicación entre las que prefieren los usuarios del cantón Babahoyo se encuentran: Facebook, Instragram y WhatsApp. Finalmente, se concluyó que, a pesar de la gran lucha contra la desinformación por parte de Facebook, aún siguen utilizándose estos formatos por varios usuarios.es_ES
