| dc.description | The case study analyzed the visual support of photography in representation of the montubia culture in Ecuador, through interviews with two experts in the Ecuadorian photographic field, which will show the importance of the visual medium within clothing, gastronomy and customs. corresponding to the Montubio people. Photography has been a distinctive tool when highlighting cultural identity, therefore, it should continue to be executed to be saved from disappearing through this tool. The results indicate that photography takes a leading role when capturing the image and prevails over the years. Likewise, through the observation sheets made, different photographs related to the montubia culture in Ecuador were analyzed, since it is a better tool that tells events through it, these details are the ones that can be visualized and interpreted, unlike a video or a story. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El estudio de caso analizó el soporte visual de la fotografía en representación de la cultura montubia en el Ecuador, a través de entrevistas realizadas a dos expertos en el ámbito fotográfico ecuatoriano, lo cual evidenciará la importancia del medio visual dentro de vestimenta, gastronomía y costumbres correspondientes al pueblo montubio. La fotografía ha sido una herramienta distintiva al momento de destacar la identidad cultural, por lo cual, se debería seguir ejecutando para ser salvada de desaparecer a través de esta herramienta. Los resultados indican que la fotografía toma un gran protagonismo al momento de capturar la imagen y prevalece a través de los años. Así mismo, mediante las fichas de observación realizadas se analizó diferentes fotografías relacionadas con la cultura montubia en el Ecuador, ya que es una mejor herramienta que cuenta sucesos a través de ella, dichos detalles son los que se podrán visualizar e interpretar, a diferencia de un vídeo o de una historia. | es_ES |
