dc.descriptionThe research focuses on analyzing the quality of hospitality provided by most restaurants in the Quevedo canton in the province of Los Ríos, in this way the relational dynamics between service providers and customers are analyzed. The quality of service is evaluated by the various appreciations and comments generated by consumers of an establishment, the owners, in addition to providing the service, are responsible for evaluating its quality. In this investigation, the appreciations of clients in terms of hospitality, treatment, attention and quality of service in different restaurant establishments in the Quevedo canton were measured. In this work, whoever is in contact with tourists (host) is identified as a fundamental part for the visitor's experience to be memorable, and this lies in the fact that their main task is hospitality -understood as receiving, helping and caring for others. as one would like them to do. An inductive methodology was used with a non-experimental modality, using an instrument to focus on the main problems perceived by consumers of this segment or type of tourist activity in the Quevedo.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa investigación se focaliza en analizar la calidad de la hospitalidad que brindan la mayoría de restaurantes del cantón Quevedo en la provincia de los Ríos, de esta manera se analiza la dinámica relacional entre los prestadores de servicios y los clientes. La calidad de servicio evalúa por las variadas apreciaciones y comentarios que generan los consumidores de un establecimiento, los propietarios además de proveer el servicio son responsables de evaluar la calidad del mismo. En esta investigación se midió las apreciaciones de clientes en cuanto a hospitalidad, trato, atención y calidad de servicio en distintos establecimientos de restaurantería en el cantón Quevedo. En este trabajo, se identifica a quien está en contacto con los turistas (anfitrión) como parte fundamental para que la experiencia del visitante sea memorable, y ello radica en que su principal tarea es la hospitalidad -entendida como recibir, ayudar y cuidar al otro como a uno le gustaría que lo hicieran. Se utilizó una metodología inductiva con modalidad no experimental, utilizando un instrumento para focalizar los principales problemas percibidos por los consumidores de este segmento o tipo de actividad turística del cantón Quevedo.es_ES
