| dc.description | The present investigation has as its purpose the environmental impacts and its effects on the tourist activity in the parish of Guayas located in the canton of El Empalme, due to its geographical location, its tropical climate, which makes it a fertile, productive land, in addition to various types of animals and plants. Despite these qualities, there are reasons that affect the ecosystem of the locality and tourism in general, such as environmental pollution caused by the irresponsibility of certain citizens and entities. This work analyzes the reality of tourism, demonstrating the need to promote its economic development, achieve its sustainability by implementing activities that allow it to be oriented to local development, take care of the natural tourist spaces and take advantage of a planned approach to the resources dedicated to society and the environment. This will make it part of the Territory's development, strengthening its economic, social and cultural dynamism and promoting the convergence of the various components of the tourism system. Survey techniques were used to gather the necessary information to support the questions posed, taking into account the opinions of citizens and tourists. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tiene como propósito los impactos ambientales y sus efectos en la actividad turística en la parroquia la Guayas ubicado en el cantón El Empalme, debido a su ubicación geográfica, su clima tropical, que la convierte en una tierra fértil, productiva, además de varios tipos de animales y plantas. A pesar de estas cualidades, existen motivos que afectan al ecosistema de la localidad y al turismo en general, como la contaminación ambiental provocada por la irresponsabilidad de determinados ciudadanos y entidades. En este trabajo se analiza la realidad del turismo, demostrando la necesidad de impulsar su desarrollo económico, lograr su sostenibilidad implementando actividades que permitan orientarlo al desarrollo local, cuidar los espacios turísticos naturales y aprovechar un enfoque planificado a los recursos dedicados a la sociedad y al medio ambiente. Esto lo hará parte del desarrollo del Territorio, fortaleciendo su dinamismo económico, social y cultural y promoviendo la convergencia de los diversos componentes del sistema turístico. Se emplearon técnicas de encuesta para recopilar la información necesaria para sustentar las preguntas planteadas, teniendo en cuenta las opiniones de los ciudadanos y turistas. | es_ES |
