| dc.description | Tourism as a commercial activity is of great importance for each site where it is developed, which is why for a long time it has been intended to give it the necessary interest that allows its economic growth, benefiting providers of tourist services directly and indirectly, such as merchants who contribute to providing a quality service. This research work aims to evaluate the influx of tourists in the Vinces canton, province of Los Ríos, determining the behavior of arrivals and overnight stays in the urban area. In order to reach the expected results, it was decided to specify the hotel capacity of the lodging establishments in order to define their occupational rate. Similarly, a problem was raised, specifying the difficulty caused by the low availability of rooms that provide the necessary comfort to tourists, especially in high season and the effects that this situation causes for merchants in the canton. Following the investigation, the theoretical framework is designed, which provides the theoretical foundation and concepts of each terminology for the development of this project. Finally, we have the analysis of the field research, we use the survey technique aimed at the managers of the hotel establishments who provide specific and relevant data that allow us to support the importance of this study. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El turismo como actividad de comercio es de mucha importancia para cada sitio donde éste se desarrolle, es por esto que desde hace mucho se pretende darle el interés necesario que permita su crecimiento económico, beneficiando a prestadores de servicios turísticos directa e indirectamente, como a los comerciantes que contribuyen a brindar un servicio de calidad. En este trabajo de investigación se pretende evaluar la afluencia de turistas en el cantón Vinces, provincia de Los Ríos, determinando el comportamiento de los arribos y pernoctaciones en la zona urbana. Para llegar a los resultados esperados se dispuso puntualizar la capacidad hotelera de los establecimientos de hospedaje para así definir su tasa ocupacional. De igual manera, se planteó una problemática, en donde se especifica la dificultad que ocasiona la poca disponibilidad de habitaciones que brinden el confort necesario al turista, especialmente en temporada alta y los efectos que causa esta situación para los comerciantes del cantón. Siguiendo la investigación, se diseña el marco teórico, el cual brinda la fundamentación teórica y conceptos de cada terminología para el desarrollo de este proyecto. Para finalizar, tenemos el análisis de la investigación de campo, utilizamos la técnica de encuesta dirigida a los administradores de los establecimientos hoteleros quienes aportan datos específicos y relevantes que permiten sustentar la importancia de este estudio. | es_ES |
