| dc.description | In this case study, as a Mental Health professional, we decided to study separation anxiety disorder in a 9-year-old boy in the city of Babahoyo, due to the fact that he presented symptoms and signs typical of this disorder, in addition to changes in his behavior that became noticeable in the academic institution where he has been in his 4th year of basic education, where through 6 sessions with our patient, where we implemented techniques such as clinical interview, direct case observation and psychological test to identify the anxiety in childhood helped us to identify a series of eventualities that confirm our hypothesis, which ensures that the symptoms he manifests are due to the fact that he maintains separation anxiety disorder and that his parents are going through a process of separation and divorce, which It directly affects him, influencing the behavior that he maintains in different places in which he develops, likewise once the diagnosis was made, we were able to carry out a diagnostic plan that could help improve and reduce the impact that the situation of their parents had on their state of mind, showing evident improvement. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente caso de estudio cómo profesional de la Salud Mental decidimos estudiar el trastorno de ansiedad por separación en un niño de 9 años de edad en la ciudad de Babahoyo, debido a que presentaba síntomas y signos propios de este trastorno, además de cambios en su comportamiento que se hacían notorios en la Institución académica en donde lleva su 4to año de educación básica, en donde mediante 6 sesiones con el paciente, en donde implementamos técnicas como son la entrevista clínica, la observación directa de caso y test psicológico para identificar la ansiedad en la niñez nos ayudó a identificar una serie de eventualidades que confirman la hipótesis, misma que asegura que los síntomas que manifiesta son debido a que mantiene el trastorno de ansiedad por separación ya que sus padres cursan por un proceso de separación y divorcio lo cual afecta directamente en él, influyendo en la conducta que mantiene en diferentes lugares en el que se desenvuelve , así mismo una vez hecho el diagnóstico pudimos realizar un plan diagnóstico que pudo ayudar a mejorar y disminuir el impacto que la situación de sus padres ejercía sobre su estado de ánimo, mostrando mejoría evidente. | es_ES |
