dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso se ejecutó con el objetivo de identificar mediante la Terapia Racional Emotiva si el COVID 19 inciden en el desarrollo de la ansiedad infantil en un niño de 8 años en la Unidad Educativa Replica Eugenio Espejo, la metodología cualitativa que se utilizó en este trabajo se encamina a determinar las variables tales como: COVID 19 y ansiedad infantil las cuales se hallan expuestas en el presente estudio de caso, además gracias a la implementación de las técnicas de la TREC, se logró que el objetivo planteado se cumpla en su totalidad, todo esto se realizó mediante un plan terapéutico el cual contempla un procedimiento de una Terapia Individual, dirigida a modificar aquellos pensamientos que el paciente manifestó durante la intervención psicológica, de esta manera se logró mitigar los síntomas en el niño a causa de su ansiedad, de esta manera se consiguió grandes resultados en la mejoría de su calidad de vida tanto personal como social.es_ES
