dc.descriptionTuberculosis is a high-risk and infectious pathology caused by the bacillus "Mycobacterium tuberculosis" that generally affects the respiratory tract of the human being. This disease, like malnutrition, are pathologies considered a public health problem since TB causes lung deficiency and the other underweight, which in some cases causes anorexia, these health conditions can even cause the death of women. People despite being preventable and curable. For this reason, the objective of this clinical case is to develop a nutritional care process for a 35-year-old male patient with tuberculosis and grade II malnutrition, which presents the following manifestations: weakness, tiredness, dyspnea on exertion, unquantified thermal rise, productive cough, pale face, shortness of breath and weight loss three months ago The results of the investigation confirmed that the patient had poor food intake that caused weight loss and caused clinical complications. As conclusions, based on the diagnosis of nutritional assessment made to the patient, the treatment to be carried out was determined, which was the elaboration of a food plan that covers the nutritional needs and requirements that the patient needs to have a state of adequate nutrition and with the purpose of reducing its complications in terms of its symptoms, in addition to carrying out follow-up and monitoring where it shows the progress of improving the patient's nutritional status.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa tuberculosis es una patología de alto riesgo e infecciosa provocada por el bacilo “Mycobacterium tuberculosis” que generalmente afecta a las vías respiratorias del ser humano. Esta enfermedad al igual que la desnutrición son patologías consideradas como un problema de salud pública puesto que la TB provoca deficiencia pulmonar y la otra bajo peso que en algunos casos llega a causar anorexia estas afecciones en la salud pueden incluso llegar a causar la muerte de las personas a pesar de ser prevenibles y curables. Por tal razón el objetivo de este caso clínico es desarrollar un proceso de atención nutricional a un paciente masculino de 35 años de edad con tuberculosis y desnutrición grado II, la cual presenta las siguientes manifestaciones: debilidad, cansancio, disnea de esfuerzo, alza térmica no cuantificada, tos productiva, facie pálida, dificultad respiratoria y pérdida de peso hace tres meses. Los resultados de la investigación comprobaron que el paciente tenía una ingesta deficiente de alimentos que provocó la pérdida de peso y ocasionó complicaciones clínicas. Como conclusiones en base al diagnosticó de valoración nutricional realizado al paciente se determinó el tratamiento a realizar, el cual fue la elaboración de un plan alimentario que cubran las necesidades y requerimientos nutricionales que el paciente necesita para que lleve un estado de nutrición adecuada y con la finalidad de disminuir sus complicaciones en cuanto a su sintomatología, además de la realización del seguimiento y monitoreo donde muestre los avances de la mejora del estadio nutricional del paciente.es_ES
