dc.descriptionThis research work deals with the management of the overdue portfolio of the company BellNovainser, whose line of business is the sale of computer equipment, appliances and technology. In addition to the technical service, it is a company that provides lines of credit to both natural and legal persons. During the pandemic due to COVID 19, a good part of the clients fell into arrears due to the economic recession, this situation affects everyone. The collection management area was faced with a situation never seen before. As mobility and capacity restrictions were very harsh, the extensions in Quevedo and Ventanas were closed, leaving 3 stores in Babahoyo and 1 in Montalvo. The closing of the Quevedo store meant the increase of a portfolio worth $12,300 dollars corresponding to the clients of that city. The company BELLNOVAINSER has managed to handle this stage of difficulties, however there is a portfolio that must be recovered. The credit area, together with the collection area, has implemented systems that allow not only the recovery of the overdue portfolio but also to retain the client once their income has stabilized. Clients can access discounts on interest, discounts for debt settlement and a new line of credit. Managing an adequate policy when opening a line of credit minimizes the risk of overdue portfolio, allows establishing healthy business relationships and provides benefits to both parties.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación trata sobre el manejo de la cartera vencida de la empresa BellNovainser, cuyo giro de negocio es la venta de equipos de computadoras, electrodomésticos y tecnología. Adicional al servicio técnico, es una empresa que provee línea de crédito tanto a personas naturales como jurídicas. Durante la pandemia a causa del COVID 19 una buena parte de los clientes entro en mora debido a la recesión económica, esta situación afecta a todos. El área de gestión de cobranza se vio ante una situación nunca antes vista. Como las restricciones de movilidad y aforo fueron muy duras se procedió al cierre de las extensiones en Quevedo y Ventanas, quedando con 3 locales en Babahoyo y 1 en Montalvo. El cierre del local de Quevedo significo el incremento de una cartera por valor de $12300 dólares correspondientes a los clientes de esa ciudad. La empresa BELLNOVAINSER ha logrado manejar esta etapa de dificultades sin embargo existe una cartera que debe ser recuperada. El área de crédito en conjunto con el área de cobranza ha implementado sistemas que permiten no solo la recuperación de la cartera vencida sino retener al cliente una vez que sus ingresos se han estabilizado. Los clientes pueden acceder a descuentos en los intereses, descuentos por liquidación de la deuda y nueva línea de crédito. El manejar una política adecuada al momento de abrir una línea de crédito minimiza el riesgo de cartera vencida, permite establecer relaciones comerciales saludables y brinda beneficios a ambas partes.es_ES
