| dc.description | The investigation was carried out within the company called Los Mellizos Wood Deposit, the same one that is located within the City of Babahoyo. This business is dedicated exclusively to the purchase and sale of construction products, specifically cane and wood to make other structures such as floors, walls, doors, etc. The main objective of the research was to study the management that the Los Mellizos Wood Deposit carries out in relation to inventory control. Among the main results obtained, it was possible to show that the company does not have an administrative management process and therefore does not have an inventory management system, which has directly impacted its financial structure, generating that during these more than 30 years of existence has not been developed internally. This research is based on what is established by the Commerce Career of the Faculty of Administration, Finance and Information Technology, for which the line of research was applied: Financial Management, administrative, tax, audit, control. In the same way, since it is a private company that is analyzed, the research subline is involved: Companies and public and private institutions. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La investigación se realizó dentro de la empresa denominada Depósito de Madera Los Mellizos, el mismo que se encuentra ubicado dentro de la Ciudad de Babahoyo. Este negocio se dedica exclusivamente a la compra y venta de productos para la construcción, específicamente caña y madera para elaborar otras estructuras como pisos, paredes, puertas, etc. El principal objetivo de la investigación consistió en estudiar la gestión que el Depósito de Madera Los Mellizos realiza en relación al control de inventarios. Entre los principales resultados obtenidos, se pudo evidenciar que la empresa no cuenta con un proceso de gestión administrativa y por ende no cuenta con un sistema de gestión de sus inventarios, lo que ha impactado directamente en su estructura financiera, generando que durante estos más de 30 años de existencia no se haya desarrollado internamente. Esta investigación se ampara en lo establecido por la Carrera de comercio de la Facultad de Administración, Finanzas e Informática, para lo cual se aplicó la línea de línea de investigación: Gestión Financiera, administrativa, tributaria, auditoria, control. De igual forma al ser una empresa de carácter privado la que se analiza, se involucra la sublínea de investigación: Empresas e instituciones públicas y privadas. | es_ES |
