| dc.description | The main objective of this case study called inventory management in the Electro Partes company in the city of Babahoyo is to evaluate the current state of inventory management within the Electro Parts company, this investigative work is related to the subline of investigation of companies and public and private institutions of the Commercial Engineering career of the Technical University of Babahoyo. Electro Partes is a company that constantly has problems related to the control and management of products, in addition to little knowledge of the administrative area, in this case study the interview research technique was used, the methodology was descriptive, in the that different bibliographic sources were used that support this investigative work. Inventory control is carried out manually, which has caused that on many occasions there is a lack of merchandise within the warehouses, in the most critical time of the COVID 19 pandemic, its profitability was not satisfactory, therefore it has not had growth in its capital, the company Electro Partes lacks adequate logistics, despite being an Ecuadorian entity, it has with suppliers from its own country reasons why it could not meet the needs of its customers, as a result of the fact that the import of products at the national was affected after the suspension of air flights. The company does not have a billing system that allows its customers to easily make the respective declarations to the SRI, Electro Partes does not have digital channels to be able to publicize its products. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso de estudio denominado como gestión de inventarios en la empresa Electro Partes de la cuidad de Babahoyo tiene como objetivo principal evaluar el estado actual de la gestión de los inventarios dentro de la empresa Electro Partes, este trabajo investigativo guarda relación con la sublínea de investigación de empresas e instituciones públicas y privadas de la carrera Ingeniería Comercial de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. Electro Partes es una empresa en que constantemente tiene problemas relacionados con el control y manejo de los productos, además del poco conocimiento del área administrativa, en este caso de estudio se utilizó la técnica de investigación de la entrevista, la metodología fue descriptiva, en la que se utilizó diferentes fuentes bibliográficas que respaldan este trabajo investigativo. El control del inventario lo realizan de forma manual lo que ha ocasionado que en muchas ocasiones exista faltantes de mercadería dentro de las bodegas, en el tiempo más críticos de la pandemia del COVID 19 su rentabilidad no fue satisfactoria por ende no ha tenido crecimiento en su capital, la empresa Electro Partes carece de una logística adecuada, a pesar de ser una entidad ecuatoriana tiene con proveedores de su propio país motivos por el cual no podía cumplir con las necesidades de sus clientes, a consecuencia de que la importación de productos a nivel nacional se vio afectada tras la suspensión de los vuelos aéreos. La empresa no cuenta con un sistema de facturación que permita a sus clientes realizar con facilidad las respectivas declaraciones al Servicio de Rentas Internas, Electro Partes no tiene canales digitales para poder dar a conocer sus productos. | es_ES |
