dc.description.abstractEl turismo es un fenómeno económico y social que determina que la gastronomía es un factor que engloba el turismo y es a su vez una parte fundamental en el desarrollo de los ejes económicos de una nación, es por ello que a través del tiempo el turismo se ha convertido en un motor clave del progreso socioeconómico a nivel mundial. A través de la presente investigación busca determinar como el turismo gastronómico ha influido en la economía del cantón Quevedo, desde el punto de vista cultural la gastronomía quevedeña ha sido un digno representante a través del tiempo la exquisitez y variedad de sus platos son reconocidos obteniendo premio a nivel nacional, lo que ha influido que la demanda por alimentos se incremente y con ello surjan microemprendimientos que ayudan a las familias a obtener sus recurso de manera sustentable y mejorar su calidad de vida. El turismo gastronómico, ha sido uno de los atractivos más cotizado del cantón donde se puede degustar diferentes tipos de platos que son elaborados de forma tradicional, como lo es cocidos en leña, envueltos en hojas de plátano, hervidos en ollas de barros, lo cual ha sido positivo para la economía ya que la demanda por probar estos platillos se ha incrementado.es_ES
