dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research is to present an analysis on digital sports journalism in the transmission of content through the YouTube social platform, analyzing what is the contribution or knowledge that is provided at the time of issuing a content or comment. This is how YouTube has become the easiest medium to transmit content and has a greater audience participation, since the digital age has become a challenge for society, requiring them to be updated to this new trend. One of the branches of journalism that undoubtedly has a large public influx worldwide is sports journalism, this has millions of followers from different parts of the world who are waiting for what happens at the local, regional, national level and even international. The methodology applied in this study was the quantitative method, focusing on the collection of data through a survey conducted on a select group of citizens, resulting in the digital age that has led any type of person to become a reporter, whether professional or empirical, standing out for his worldwide coverage and the quick way of transmitting his contents so that they are viewed by his followers and thus they stay informed.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl propósito de esta investigación es dar a conocer un análisis sobre el periodismo deportivo digital en la transmisión de contenidos mediante la plataforma social YouTube, analizando cuál es el aporte o conocimiento que se brindan al momento de emitir un contenido o comentario. Es así como YouTube se ha vuelto el medio de mayor facilidad para transmitir contenidos y cuenta con una mayor concurrencia del público, ya que la era digital se ha convertido en un desafío para la sociedad exigiéndoles a estar actualizados a esta nueva tendencia. Una de las ramas del periodismo que sin duda alguna tiene gran afluencia pública a nivel mundial es el periodismo deportivo, este cuenta con millones de seguidores de diferentes partes del mundo que se encuentran a la expectativa de lo que suceda a nivel local, regional, nacional e incluso internacional. La metodología que se aplicó en este estudio fue el método cuantitativo, enfocándose en la recolección de datos a través de una encuesta realizada a un grupo selecto de ciudadanos, dando como resultado que la era digital ha llevado a cualquier tipo de persona a convertirse en un reportero ya sea este profesional o empírico, destacándose por su cobertura mundial y la forma rápida de transmitir sus contenidos para que estos sean visualizados por sus seguidores y así se mantengan informados.es_ES
