dc.descriptionThe work entitled physical activity for sedentary older adults in times of the covid 19 pandemic of the Macul campus, Vinces canton, Los Ríos, Ecuador 2021, collects results that reveal the situation of people in the sector with sedentary problems. The methodology used in this project was a non-experimental method with a transectional or cross-sectional approach which provided the description of both variables and analyzed their incidence and thus interpreted them, and the descriptive design made it easier to inquire about physical activity in older adults, and also describe the population of elderly people who suffer from sedentary lifestyle through surveys. The techniques in this research were: survey and observation, which were carried out under structured questions and questionnaires. Whose study population of older adults was 75 in which a random selection of the sample of 23 people between 65 and 80 years was made. As results, it is expected to counteract sedentary lifestyle in order to reduce and prevent it, with the help of methodological tools to develop a physical activity plan which would satisfy the interests and needs of older adults with sedentary problems, adopting as a point of reference, principles of trainings but adapted to older adults taking into account if they suffer from any pathology due to their age, and thus provide greater interest in carrying out their plan of activities with the intention of improving their health for each of them.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl trabajo titulado actividad física para adultos mayores sedentarios en tiempo de pandemia covid 19 del recinto Macul, cantón Vinces, Los Ríos, Ecuador 2021, recoge resultados que revelan la situación que presentan las personas del sector con problemas de sedentarismo. La metodología utilizada en este proyecto fue un método no experimental con enfoque transeccional o transversal el cual proporciono la descripción de ambas variables y analizar su incidencia y así interpretarlas, y el diseño descriptivo facilito indagar sobre la actividad física en adultos mayores, y así mismo describir la población de personas de la tercera edad que padecen de sedentarismo por medio de encuestas. Las técnicas en esta investigación fueron: encuesta y la observación, las cuales se realizaron bajo preguntas estructuradas y cuestionarios. Cuya población de estudio de adultos mayores fue de 75 en la cual se hizo una selección aleatoria de la muestra de 23 personas entre 65 y 80 años. Como resultados se espera contrarrestar el sedentarismo con el fin de reducir y prevenirlo, con ayuda de herramientas metodológicas para desarrollar un plan de actividad física el cual lograría satisfacer los intereses y necesidades de los adultos mayores con problemas sedentarios, adoptando como punto de referencia, principios de entrenamientos pero adaptados a los adultos de la tercera edad tomando en cuenta si padecen alguna patología por motivo de su edad, y así brindar mayor interés por realizar cuyo plan de actividades con la intención de mejorar su salud de cada uno de ellos.es_ES
