| dc.description | This work is base on an investigation and analysis of the Communication Law in Ecuador, its reforms and legal and social impacto n Ecuadorians, who see and feel their freedow of expresión threatened for several yeras. From the perspective of various sectors of political economic and civil society, the Communication Law should regulate the dissemination of information in the media, not cut off the right to freedom of expression of society. The posible scope of the reforms to the articles that are proposed are analyzed thoirgh the experience of journalist and communicatiors whi have practiced the profesión during this time when the law came into force and the changes that it has had during the governments of the day in Ecuador. Finally, it concluded that when comparing and analyzing both the articles in the 2013 Law and modification of it in 2019, it was observed that freedom of expression for both journalists and citizens has been the most deteriorated and with an in-depth analysis of the value of communication a fundamental pillar of all time. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo se basa en una investigación y análisis de la Ley de Comunicación en Ecuador sus reformas e impacto jurídico y social en los ecuatorianos, que ven y siente amenazada su libertad de expresión desde hace varios años. Desde la perspectiva de varios sectores de la sociedad político, económico y sociedad civil la Ley de Comunicación debe regular la difusión de información en los medios de comunicación, no cortar el derecho a la libertada de expresión de la sociedad. Los posibles alcances de las reformas a los artículos que se plantean son analizados a través de la experiencia de periodistas y comunicadores que han ejercido la profesión durante este tiempo donde entro en vigencia la ley y los cambios que ha tenido durante los gobiernos de turno en Ecuador. Finalmente concluyó que al comparar y analizar tanto los artículos en la Ley del 2013 y la modificación de ella en el 2019 se observó que la libertad de expresión tanto para el periodista como para el ciudadano ha sido la más deteriorada y con una reforma a ley en camino es necesario conocer los aspectos desde diferentes ópticas y con un análisis profundo sobre el valor de la comunicación pilar fundamental de todos los tiempos. | es_ES |
