| dc.description | Sexual violence is a problem that occurs frequently within the close family environment, it does not see economic, social status, age, religion or sex. The effects that come from this type of violence are not only physical, but also psychological, affecting those who have suffered from it and those who live with them. Depression is a state of mind that consists of deep sadness that has repercussions on the daily activities that the person develops in their daily life. There are various types of depression or depressive disorders. In this case study we will talk about a severe depressive episode according to the International Classification of Diseases in its tenth version of the World Health Organization, which consists of deep sadness, frequent crying, feelings of guilt, ideas or thoughts of death, low self-esteem, among others. Both direct and indirect victims can suffer from a depressive episode due to the damage, force, intimidation or threats that the abuser uses to control their victim. Through an appropriate psychotherapeutic process, the trauma and the symptoms associated with it can be worked on. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La violencia sexual es una problemática que se presenta frecuentemente dentro del entorno familiar cercano, no ve estatus económico, social, edad, religión o sexo. Las afectaciones que vienen por este tipo de violencia no solo son de carácter físico, sino también psicológico, siendo afectados quienes la han padecido y quienes conviven con ellos. Por su parte, la depresión es un estado de ánimo bajo que tiene repercusiones en las actividades cotidianas que el sujeto desarrolla en su diario vivir. Existen diversos tipos de depresión o trastornos depresivos. En este estudio de caso se hablará de un episodio depresivo grave según la Clasificación Internacional de las Enfermedades en su décima versión de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, el cual consiste en una profunda tristeza, llanto frecuente, sentimientos de culpabilidad, ideas o pensamientos de muerte, baja autoestima, entre otros. Tanto las víctimas directas como indirectas pueden llegar a padecer de un episodio o cuadro depresivo debido al daño, fuerza, intimidación o amenazas que el abusador usa para controlar a su víctima. A través de un proceso psicoterapéutico adecuado se puede trabajar el trauma y los síntomas asociados a este. | es_ES |
