dc.descriptionThrough the present case study, which arises from the concern that exists in a case of anxiety presented in an adolescent from the city of Babahoyo, induced by addictive behaviors to new technologies, especially mobile phones and the Internet, when carry out a series of activities online that occupy most of your time, and that in turn significantly affect social, family, and school areas, without leaving aside the physical and mental effects, emphasizing mainly on this last aspect, triggering a series of harmful behaviors such as; affectations in personal relationships; the inability to initiate and maintain a conversation with real staff and in real time, physical and mental exhaustion, poor school performance, and mainly its influence on the generalized anxiety state detected in the adolescent; the same one that is characterized by excessive worries of all kinds, feelings of overwhelm and tension, difficulty concentrating and sleeping, among other characteristic features. For the respective data collection in information, some diagnostic assessment techniques were implemented, such as the application of the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and the Kendall and Wilcox Self-control scale, in addition to the use of a Multicage web screening questionnaire. -ICT, to measure technological addiction in cybernetic users, the aforementioned evaluative tools were essential to identify the set of signs and symptoms that occurred in the patient due to their addiction to new technologies, in order to determine the influence, it has this condition on the state of anxiety presented.es_ES

dc.description.abstractMediante el presente estudio de caso, el cual surge a raíz de la preocupación que existe ante un caso de ansiedad presentado en un adolescente de la ciudad de Babahoyo, inducido por comportamientos adictivos a las nuevas tecnologías, al realizar una serie de actividades de forma online que ocupan la mayor parte de su tiempo, y que a su vez afecta en áreas sociales, familiares, escolares, sin dejar a un lado las afectaciones a nivel físico y mental, haciendo énfasis principalmente en este último aspecto, desencadenando una serie de comportamientos perjudiciales como; afectaciones en las interrelaciones personales; la incapacidad de iniciar y mantener una conversación con personas reales y en tiempo real, agotamiento físico y mental, bajo rendimiento escolar, y principalmente su influencia en el estado de ansiedad generalizada detectado en el adolescente; el mismo que está caracterizado por preocupaciones excesivas de toda índole, sentimientos de agobio y tensión, dificultad para concentrarse y dormir, entre otros rasgos característicos. Para la recolección de datos e información se implementaron algunas técnicas de valoración diagnóstica, como la del Inventario de Ansiedad de Beck (BAI) y la escala de Auto-control de Kendall y Wilcox, además del uso de un cuestionario de cribado web Multicage-TIC, para medir la adicción tecnológica en los usuarios cibernéticos, las mencionadas herramientas valorativas fueron esenciales para identificar los signos y síntomas que se presentaban en el paciente por su adicción a las nuevas tecnologías, con el objetivo de determinar la influencia que tiene esta condición sobre el estado de ansiedad presentado en el mismo.es_ES
