dc.descriptionThis research focuses its study on the use of the IPTV platform within the scope of secondary education, where the transmission of video and television over the Internet opens the doors to a wide range of options in this sector and to knowledge in general. The study center where the present work was developed is the Educational Unit "August 10" of Vinces, where it was stated that by having this current and flexible technology it is possible to keep students, teachers, employees and workers informed; through audiovisual content that will be broadcast on televisions located in each course or using your computer. The importance and benefits that the IPTV platform offers in education, its use in some universities in the country and other projects of this type carried out in different countries were investigated. In addition, surveys and interviews were conducted with the members of the Educational Unit to learn about the reality of this center and the expectations they have regarding the services that would be obtained with the implementation of this technology. IPTV has all the potential to be one of the engines of innovation in Educational Units and Universities, by offering the service of recording lectures, congresses, seminars and even teachers' classes, which students could access in any time and thus provide feedback on knowledge. It is proposed to develop this initiative to implement IPTV in the Educational Unit "August 10" of Vinces. Networks and communications play a fundamental role, since it is necessary to have a good fiber laying to ensure the quality of the video transmission, in the same way, the design of the IPTV infrastructure and the equipment to be used is very important.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación concentra su estudio en la utilización de la plataforma IPTV dentro del contorno de la educación secundaria, donde la transmisión de video y televisión por internet abre las puertas a una extensa gama de elecciones en este sector y del conocimiento en general. El centro de estudio donde se ejecutó el presente trabajo es la Unidad Educativa “10 de Agosto” de Vinces, en donde se proyectó que al contar con esta tecnología actual y flexible es viable tener informados a los estudiantes, docentes, empleados y trabajadores; mediante contenidos audiovisuales que se transmitirán en televisores situados en cada aula o usando su computador. Se averiguó sobre la importancia y las bondades que la plataforma IPTV promete en la educación, su empleo en algunas instituciones del país y otros proyectos de este tipo ejecutados en diferentes países. Además, se ejecutaron encuestas y entrevistas a los miembros de la Unidad Educativa para conocer la situación de este centro y las perspectivas que tienen referente a los servicios que se lograrían con la implementación de esta tecnología. IPTV tiene todo el potencial para ser uno de los motores de la creación en las Unidades Educativas y, al brindar el servicio de grabación de conferencias magistrales, congresos, seminarios e incluso las clases de los docentes, a las cuales podrían acceder los estudiantes en cualquier momento y con ello retroalimentar conocimientos. Se propone desplegar esta decisión de implementar IPTV en la Unidad Educativa “10 de Agosto” de Vinces. Las redes y comunicaciones juegan un papel fundamental, ya que se requiere contar con un buen tendido de fibra para asegurar la calidad en la transmisión de video, de igual forma es muy significativo el diseño de la infraestructura IPTV y los equipos a manejar.es_ES
