| dc.description | The document deals with a case study, which is oriented to analyze the processes that allow to convert and transform the physical documents of the Technical University of Babahoyo, with influence only of referential study in the Faculty of Administration, Finance and Informatics; all aimed at preserving the existing physical documentation that has been in digitized elements for a long time and there is a chain of protection and strategies that allow its preservation. This case study is oriented with the sub-line of research of the systems engineer career, since the line of research is "Communication and business and technological undertakings, development of information systems and the sub-line is data processes and telecommunications." To reinforce this case study, local systems engineering technicians have been invited to participate, providing the knowledge of the case so that this degree work has the technical guarantees referenced by computer experts; This was also analyzed by the author of this document, who also enriched the research with theoretical references that are aligned to consolidate the present case study, through bibliographic authors worldwide, likewise, the archive standard was consulted. has established in Ecuador and to which public institutions must adhere for the treatment of archives. In the annexes there are also more detailed studies related to the cost benefit of digitizing and preserving documents at the Technical University of Babahoyo, as well as the various evidences of participation in interviews and surveys. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El documento trata de un caso de estudio, que se orienta a analizar los procesos qué permiten convertir y transformar los documentos físicos de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, con influencia únicamente de estudio referencial en la Facultad de Administración, Finanzas e Informática; todo orientado a que se preserve la documentación física existente que tiene un gran tiempo en elementos digitalizados y exista una cadena de protección y estrategias que permiten su preservación. Este caso de estudio se orienta con la sublínea de investigación de la carrera de ingeniero de sistemas, pues la línea de investigación es “Comunicación y emprendimientos empresariales y tecnológicos, desarrollo de Sistemas de la información y la sublínea es procesos de datos y telecomunicaciones”. Para reforzar este caso de estudio, se han invitado a participar a técnicos ingenieros en sistemas de la localidad, que brindaron los conocimientos del caso para que este trabajo de titulación cuente con las garantías técnicas referenciadas por expertos en informática; esto fue además analizado por el autor de este documento, que además enriqueció la investigación con referencias teóricas que se alinean a consolidar el caso de estudio presente, a través de autores bibliográficos a nivel mundial, así mismo, se consultó la norma de archivos que se ha establecido en Ecuador y a las que las instituciones públicas deben apegarse para el tratamiento de los archivos. En los anexos además existen estudios más detallados relacionados con el costo beneficio de la digitalización y preservación de los documentos en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, así como las varias evidencias de las participaciones en las entrevistas y encuestas. | es_ES |
