Inventory represents one of the most important investments of companies in relation to the rest of their assets, since they are essential for sales and indispensable for profit optimization. In business practice, many managers make the mistake of not recognizing the importance of efficient inventory management. Thus, the importance of using financial techniques for inventory management. In this research, an inductive methodology of documentary analysis was used, whose purpose is to analyze the types of inventory systems in order to define which is the appropriate one to be implemented in the distribution company “TOUMA” as a key element for the optimization of profits in companies. Comparative tables were developed with the theoretical foundations of characteristics, prices, advantages and disadvantages of the inventory system. It was concluded, that the best shortening management system with the requirements for the distributor “TOUMA” is Holded, as it is a complete and intuitive cloud ERP. The platform not only synchronizes with their e-commerce store (it is compatible with Shopify, Amazon Marketplace, PrestaShop and WooCommerce), but also allows them to manage their warehouse and shipping from a single place.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLos inventarios son todos aquellos artículos o stocks usados en la producción (materia prima y productos en proceso), actividades de apoyo (suministro de mantenimiento y reparación) y servicio al cliente (productos terminados y repuestos). El inventario representa una de las inversiones más importantes de las empresas con relación al resto de sus activos, ya que son fundamentales para las ventas e indispensables para la optimización de las utilidades. En la práctica empresarial, muchos gerentes cometen el error de no reconocer la importancia de llevar a cabo una eficiente administración del mismo. Por ello, la importancia de emplear técnicas financieras para la gestión del inventario. En la presente investigación se utilizó una metodología inductiva de análisis documental, cuyo propósito es analizar los tipos de sistemas de inventario para definir cuál es el adecuado para ser implementado en la distribuidora “TOUMA” como elemento clave para la optimización de las utilidades en las empresas. Se desarrollaron cuadros comparativos con los fundamentos teóricos de características, precios, ventajas y desventajas del sistema de inventario. Se concluyó, que el mejor sistema de gestión de acorte con los requerimientos para la distribuidora “TOUMA” es Holded, ya que es un ERP en la nube completa e intuitivo. La plataforma no solo se sincroniza con su tienda de comercio electrónico (es compatible con Shopify, Amazon Marketplace, PrestaShop y WooCommerce), sino que también le permite administrar su almacén y envío desde un solo lugar.es_ES
