It is necessary to apply measures that allow generating the importance of mandarin production for farmers, especially in rural areas, so that it allows them to obtain an additional economic income, being a reference of an alternative crop in various areas of Ecuador. Based on the above conclusions, it is determined that the physiology of production allows us to understand the agronomic and productive behavior of citrus fruits, which has allowed to characterize agronomic management from good practices, which helps the growth and development of mandarin plants, having repercussions in the quality of the fruit and it is essential that there are manuals that allow characterizing the agronomic management of the mandarin crop, which will help farmers increase their economic income per unit area and carry out the essential tasks that the crop requires, such as sowing. of improved varieties, adequate planting distances, good fertilization program, formation and maintenance pruning, irrigation that allows the good development of the plantation, control of pests and diseases to obtain a greater increase in yields / ha.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente documentación trato lo referente al manejo agronómico del cultivo de Mandarina (Citrus reticulata). Es necesario aplicar medidas que permitan generar la importancia de la producción de mandarina para los agricultores, especialmente de las zonas rurales, para que les permita obtener un ingreso económico adicional, siendo referente de un cultivo alternativo en varias zonas del Ecuador. Por las conclusiones expuestas se determina que la fisiología de la producción permite entender el comportamiento agronómico y productivo de los cítricos, lo que ha concedido caracterizar el manejo agronómico desde las buenas prácticas, lo que ayuda al crecimiento y desarrollo de las plantas de mandarina, repercutiendo en la calidad del fruto y es indispensable que existan manuales que permitan caracterizar el manejo agronómico del cultivo de mandarina, que servirá de ayuda para que los agricultores incrementen sus ingresos económicos por unidad de superficie y efectuar las labores indispensables que requiere el cultivo como son siembra de variedades mejoradas, distancias de siembra adecuada, buen programa de fertilización, podas de formación y mantenimiento, riego que permita el buen desarrollo de la plantación, control de plagas y enfermedades para obtener mayor incremento en los rendimientos/ha.es_ES
