dc.descriptionIt is estimated that the global population will increase in 2020 to 9 billion, in which young people between 15 and 24 years old, will represent 14% of this total. The vast majority of young people globally are expected to have high growth, as employment and entrepreneurship opportunities improve for those young people living in economically stagnant rural areas. Young farmers have the initiative and capacity to innovate and undertake. In which they frequently use information and communication technologies such as: mobile phones and social multimedia tools in order to share information. Young people engaged in agricultural activities contribute significantly to family labor and household food security. For young people to see agriculture as a career option, they must be supported in the development of adequate financial and business techniques, access to land and credit to allow them to have control over the financial returns resulting from their activities. Young people must be in their optimal physical and mental development stage, to innovate in agricultural development, because there are factors that impede their development in all aspects. The information obtained was made through the technique of analysis, synthesis and summary, in order for the reader to learn about the importance of rural youth and their contribution to the development of agricultural activity. For the above detailed it was determined that young farmers have the initiative and the necessary capacity to innovate and undertake in the agricultural sector. In some developing countries, policies and programs do not consider young farmers. This is partly due to the weakness of farmers' associations that often fail to represent their interests. Young farmers are the entrepreneurs of tomorrow and have the potential to overcome the challenges of food security.es_ES

dc.description.abstractSe estima que la población global incrementará en el 2020 a 9 mil millones, en la cual los jóvenes entre 15 y 24 años, representarán el 14 % de este total. Se espera que la gran mayoría de los jóvenes a nivel mundial tenga un crecimiento alto, al igual que el empleo y las oportunidades de emprendimiento mejoren para aquellos jóvenes que viven en las zonas rurales económicamente estancada. Los agricultores jóvenes tienen la iniciativa y la capacidad necesarias para innovar y emprender. En la cual utilizan de manera frecuente las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación como: teléfonos móviles y herramientas multimedia sociales con el fin de compartir información. Los jóvenes que se dedican a actividades agrícolas contribuyen significativamente con la mano de obra familiar y la seguridad alimentaria de los hogares. Para que los jóvenes vean la agricultura como una opción profesional, deben ser apoyados en el desarrollo de técnicas financieras y de negocios adecuadas, acceso a la tierra y al crédito para permitirles tener el control sobre los rendimientos financieros resultantes de sus actividades. Los jóvenes deben encontrarse en su etapa de desarrollo físico y mental óptima, para innovar en el fomento agrícola, debido a que los existen factores que impiden su desarrollo en todos los aspectos. La información obtenida fue efectuada mediante la técnica de análisis, síntesis y resumen, con la finalidad de que el lector conozca sobre la importancia de la juventud rural y su aporte para el desarrollo de la actividad agropecuaria. Por lo anteriormente detallado se determinó que los agricultores jóvenes tienen la iniciativa y la capacidad necesarias para innovar y emprender en el sector agropecuario. En algunos países en vías de desarrollo las políticas y programas no consideran a los jóvenes agricultores. Esto se debe en parte a la debilidad de las asociaciones de agricultores que a menudo no consiguen representar sus intereses. Los jóvenes agricultores son los emprendedores del mañana y tienen el potencial de superar los retos que presenta la seguridad alimentaria.es_ES
