| dc.description | The province of Manabí is one of the most beautiful and touristic corners of Ecuador that the country can offer, its beaches and tourist attractions are a point of national and international interest, having this a port where it can receive important tourist ships, this positions it as a canton with a beach appeal of excellence, however this tourism photo is not the only one offered by the province, over the years this attraction has only been promoted as a focus of progress and pride, but the composition of the province it can offer much more to tourists looking for other types of tourist adventures. The communities of Manabí have been hit in recent years by various problems, the lack of road infrastructure followed by various internal and external factors have generated serious problems for the development of communities, being entire communities underdeveloped and abandoned, but with rich potential in tourism; Despite the difficulties, the communities seek to develop spaces for interaction with tourist attractions. The "Manga del Cura" is a jewel of tourism that was in dispute for its provincial territorial membership for many years, this stopped the development of tourism access and promotion work, the aforementioned territorial section has areas of high value tourist interest such as its famous waterfall "El Salto del Armadillo" which is one of the largest and most impressive in Ecuador. The Santa María parish is a segmentation of La Manga del Cura, this population being mainly dedicated to livestock and agricultural activities, but due to its geographical position it has value of exploitation interest in community tourism projects, therefore this project seeks to generate an analysis to determine the community tourism development potential of this parish for the benefit of La Manga del Cura and Manabí. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La provincia de Manabí es uno de los rincones del Ecuador más hermosos y turísticos que puede ofrecer el país, sus playas y atractivos turísticos son un punto de interés nacional e internacional teniendo este un puerto donde puede recibir navíos turísticos importantes, esto lo posiciona como un cantón con un atractivo playero de excelencia, sin embargo este foto de turismo no es el único que ofrece la provincia, a lo largo de los años solo se ha promocionado este atractivo como un foco de progreso y orgullo manaba, pero la composición de la provincia puede ofrecer mucho más a los turistas que buscan otro tipo de aventuras turísticas. Las comunidades de Manabí han sido golpeadas los últimos años por varios problemas, la falta de infraestructura vial seguido de versos factores internos y externos a la misma han generado problemas graves al desarrollo de comunidades, siendo comunidades enteras subdesarrolladas y abandonadas, pero con un potencial rico en turismo; a pesar de las dificultades las comunices buscan desarrollar espacios de interacción a atractivos turísticos. La “Manga del Cura” es una joya del turismo que estuvo en disputa por su partencia territorial provincial por muchos años, esto frenó el desarrollo de obra de acceso y promoción turística, la mencionada sección territorial posee zonas de interés turísticos de alto valor como su famosa Cascada “El Salto del Armadillo” que es una de las más grandes e imponentes del Ecuador. La parroquia Santa María es una segmentación de la Manga del Cura, siendo esta población principalmente dedicada a actividades ganaderas y agrícolas, pero por su posición geográfica tiene valor de interés de explotación en proyectos turísticos comunitarios, por lo expuesto anteriormente este proyecto busca generar un análisis para determinar el potencial de desarrollo turístico comunitario de esta parroquia en beneficio para la Manga del Cura y Manabí. | es_ES |
