dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to develop a tourism communication marketing plan for the Quevedo canton; and in this way contribute to the improvement of the tourist vision that is had of it, and in turn promote the socio-economic development of its inhabitants and the canton in general. It was detected that Quevedo has a high range of tourist attractions and activities to be developed as well as sites that have not yet been promoted as such but that would contribute significantly to tourism. In order to carry out this plan, it has been seen the need to carry out an analysis of the current tourist situation of the canton for which a theoretical investigation of its attractions and most important data was carried out. The research was developed from a descriptive-explanatory modality with observation techniques, taking as a general hypothesis that the communication marketing plan affects the promotion and development of tourism in the Quevedo canton of the Los Ríos province.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo elaborar un plan de marketing comunicacional de turismo del cantón Quevedo; y de esta manera contribuir a la mejora de la visión turística que se tiene del mismo, y a su vez fomentar el desarrollo socio-económico de sus habitantes y del cantón en general. Se detectó que Quevedo cuenta con una alta gama de atractivos y actividades turísticas por desarrollar como también sitios que aún no son potenciados como tal pero que aportarían significativamente al turismo del mismo. Para llevar a cabo dicho plan se ha visto la necesidad de realizar un análisis de la situación turística actual del cantón para el cual se realizó una investigación teórica de sus atractivos y datos más importantes. La investigación se desarrollado a partir de una modalidad descriptiva-explicativa con técnicas de observación, teniendo como hipótesis general que el plan de marketing comunicacional incide en el fomento y desarrollo del turismo del cantón Quevedo de la provincia de Los Ríos.es_ES
