| dc.description | The present investigation carried out in the Canton El Empalme was developed essentially to know and recognize the resources and tourist attractions that this town has. For this reason, it was decided to carry out a precise and detailed updated tourist inventory following the regulations established by the Ministry of Tourism. In the development of this research work, the inductive-deductive method was used, the observation technique was used to collect the information, ending with the verification of the premises. The types of research used were field research, descriptive and documentary, based on primary sources such as documents and official communications from the media and the Municipal GAD website; Among the results obtained, we find that there is a lack of communication, tourist diffusion and loss of two important tourist attractions, resulting in seventeen tourist attractions in the inventory. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación realizada en el Cantón El Empalme se desarrolló esencialmente para conocer y reconocer los recursos y atractivos turísticos que posee esta localidad. Por ello se decidió realizar un inventario turístico actualizado preciso y detallado siguiendo la normativa establecida por el Ministerio de Turismo. En el desarrollo de este trabajo investigativo, se utilizó el método inductivo-deductivo, para la recolección de la información se empleó la técnica de la observación, finalizando con la comprobación de las premisas. Los tipos de investigación utilizados fueron la investigación de campo, la descriptiva y documental, fundamentadas en las fuentes primarias como documentos y comunicados oficiales de medios de comunicación y la página web del GAD Municipal; dentro de los resultados obtenidos encontramos que existe falta de comunicación, difusión turística y pérdida de dos atractivos turísticos importantes quedando como resultado en el inventario diecisiete atractivos turísticos. | es_ES |
