Through digital news, information can be obtained immediately when an event occurs, in addition, this type of media also provides the possibility for each listener to exchange opinions about news and contribute to related research. Unlike other media, this medium has many advantages, such as news in real time with sound and images, links to other pages and social interaction. Digital news involves the entire informational process using the resources provided by technology to promote the continuous development of the information that the audience receives at any time and place. Some people believe that print newspapers will disappear over time due to technological advances in digital newspapers with multimedia content (text, images, audio and video) and support. In Ecuador, digital media have been integrated into the new platform and even managed to increase the audience due to its immediacy. Fewer and fewer people are looking for information through newspapers, television or radio because they already have smartphones and can use these smartphones to access social media to find the latest world news. | dc.description.abstract | Para los lectores interesados en eventos alrededor del mundo, las noticias digitales son un medio de información directo y accesible. A través de las noticias digitales se puede obtener información de manera inmediata cuando ocurre un evento, además, este tipo de medios también brinda la posibilidad a cada oyente de intercambiar opiniones sobre noticias y contribuir a investigaciones relacionadas. A diferencia de otros medios, este medio tiene muchas ventajas, como noticias en tiempo real con sonido e imágenes, enlaces a otras páginas e interacción social. Las noticias digitales implican todo el proceso informativo utilizando los recursos proporcionados por la tecnología para promover el desarrollo continuo de la información que recibe la audiencia en cualquier momento y lugar. Algunas personas creen que los periódicos impresos desaparecerán con el tiempo debido a los avances tecnológicos en los periódicos digitales con contenido multimedia (texto, imágenes, audio y video) y soporte. En Ecuador, los medios digitales se han integrado a la nueva plataforma e incluso lograron incrementar la audiencia por su inmediatez. Cada vez menos personas buscan información a través de periódicos, televisión o radio porque ya tienen teléfonos inteligentes y pueden usar estos teléfonos inteligentes para acceder a las redes sociales para encontrar las últimas noticias mundiales.
