dc.descriptionThe present case study was developed with a post-traumatic stress problem in a university adolescent from the Province of Manabí in the Canton Portoviejo. The symptoms reflected by the university adolescent are presented with a higher incidence in the psychic area due to the disturbing thoughts that affect her in her social environment. In the collection of information, techniques such as the semi-structured interview, medical history and the Hamilton test were used to obtain a presumptive diagnosis. In addition, techniques of the cognitive behavioral model were applied, through which they helped to detect the distorted thoughts of the patient to modify those thoughts, these being cognitive restructuring techniques.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso se desarrolló con una problemática de estrés postraumático, en una adolescente universitaria de la Provincia de Manabí en el Cantón Portoviejo. Los síntomas que refleja la adolescente universitaria se presentan con mayor incidencia en el área psíquica debido a los pensamientos perturbadores que la afectan en su entorno social. En la recopilación de información se utilizó técnicas como la entrevista semi estructurada, historia clínica y el test de Hamilton para obtener un diagnostico presuntivo. Además, se aplicaron técnicas del modelo cognitivo conductual, mediante las cuales ayudaron a detectar los pensamientos distorsionados de la paciente para modificar esos pensamientos siendo estas técnicas de reestructuración cognitivas.es_ES
