| dc.description | The objective of this work is to describe the effectiveness of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy "TREC" in the treatment of a cocaine user patient in a CETAD for which the author made a systematic immersion in this institution to know in first person the reality of the people who are receiving psychotherapeutic treatment, for the evaluation she used traditional tools of clinical psychology such as clinical history and projective tests in addition to psychometric test of great use to detect severe clinical pathologies such as the Million Test. By means of the different techniques it was determined that the user was suffering from a dual pathology as he was fulfilling the diagnostic criteria for F14.10 cocaine dependence associated with 301.7; F60. 2 antisocial personality disorder, so we proceeded to implement a treatment based on techniques and strategies of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, which served fully with the goals having significant improvements in the user both in the irrational thoughts and beliefs that maintained cocaine use and in learning and maintaining positive behaviors and protection strategy and relapse prevention. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo realizado tiene como objetivo describir la eficacia de la Terapia Racional Emotiva Conductual “TREC” en el tratamiento de un paciente consumidor de cocaína en un CETAD para lo cual la autora realizo una inmersión sistemática en esta institución para conocer en primera persona la realidad de las personas que se encuentran recibiendo tratamiento psicoterapéutico, para la evaluación empleo herramientas tradicionales de la psicología clínica como es la historia clínica y los test proyectivos además de test psicométrico de gran uso para detectar patologías clínicas severas como es el Test de Millón. Por medio de las diferentes técnicas se determinó que el usuario se encontraba padeciendo una patología dual al estar cumpliendo los criterios diagnósticos para F14.10 dependencia de cocaína asociado a 301.7; F60. 2 trastorno antisocial de la personalidad, ante esto procedimos a implementar un tratamiento en base a técnicas y estrategias de la Terapia Racional Emotiva Conductual, la cual sirvió a cabalidad con las metas trazadas habiendo mejorías significativas en el usuario tanto en los pensamientos y creencias irracionales que mantenían el consumo de cocaína como en el aprendizaje y mantenimiento de conductas positivas y estrategia de prote4ccion y prevención de recaídas. | es_ES |
