dc.description | Sleep apnea is a common and dangerous disorder since breathing becomes shallow and can also be interrupted, these interruptions can be seconds but can also be minutes, even interrupting sleep, men, people with overweight and adults over 40 are the most likely to suffer from it. By not having adequate rest, people with sleep apnea are more prone to accidents due to their state of drowsiness, it can even reduce their health if they do not seek medical attention as soon as possible. Sleep apnea carries serious health problems such as high blood pressure, heart failure and contingent cerebrovascular disease that is why it must be treated in time. There are two types of sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea and central sleep apnea. Many symptoms of this pathology occur when sleeping, sometimes it is very difficult to recognize that the disease is suffered, it is usually detected by the patient's environment when noticing loud snoring. Dental devices are used to treat sleep apnea, as well as CPAP. | es_ES |
