| dc.description | At present, strabismus is one of the most frequent events which attend an ophthalmological consultation, due to the causes that they present as ocular deviations, ocular misalignment, abnormal position of the head, this may be more frequent in children. In the world they point out that it is a source of problems in muscle control since the eyes do not line up in the same direction. To publicize the causes, classification, treatment and prognosis, the respective synopsis of the present clinical case will be carried out. It is considered that strabismus can be corrected with the adaptation of ophthalmic prisms for a slight deviation that the post-surgical child presents by performing subjective and objective examinations to improve visual acuity. Prismatic ophthalmic lenses are optical systems that modify vision, in order to improve visual quality and have greater human binocularity. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad el estrabismo es uno de los eventos más frecuentes el cual asisten a consulta oftalmológica, debido a las causas que presentan como desviaciones oculares, desalineamiento oculares, posición anómala de la cabeza esto puede ser más frecuente en los niños. En el mundo apuntan a que es fuente de problemas en el control muscular ya que los ojos no se alinean a la misma dirección. Para dar a conocer las causas, la clasificación, tratamiento y pronóstico, se realizara la respectiva sinopsis del presente caso clínico. Se considera que el estrabismo se puede corregir con la adaptación de prismas oftálmicos para una leve desviación que presente el niño post-quirúrgico realizando exámenes subjetivos y objetivos para mejorar la agudeza visual. Las lentes oftálmicas prismáticas son sistemas ópticos que modifican la visión, con el fin de mejorar la calidad visual y tener mayor binocularidad humana. | es_ES |
