This clinical case is based on covid 19 which is a virus that can cause a variety of diseases, ranging from the cammon cold to severe clinical symptoms such as pneumonia, middle Eastern respiratory síndrome (MERS) and respiratory síndrome severe acute (SARS). It should be noted that the coronavirus strain (2019n-CoV) that caused the oubreak in China and causes the epidemic worldwide is new and previously unknown. The name of the coronavirus is derived from its appearance because it is similar to the corona or halo. It is a virus that is found mainly in animals, but also in humans. Covid 19 causes very mild symptoms in children compared to the symptoms of infected adults, however, in children there may be a reaction of the inmune system to covid 19 causing pediatric multisystemic inflammatory syndrome (SMI-C) being a serious disease characterized by inflammation of major organs such as the Heart, brain, lung, kidneys, blood vessels, digestive system, skin, or eyes. This being the case of the 3 year old patient who was admitted to the emergency área of the Martin Icaza General Hospital presenting a clinical picture of nine days of evolution characterized by odynophagia, a quantified termal rise of 38.4 0 C, headache, generalized abdominal pain. In which the nursing care process is applied based on direct observations and the cephalo – caudal assessment of the patient, for which individualized nursing care will be carried out taking into account the symptoms and needs of the patient.es_ES
