dc.description | Preeclampsia is a severe complication, both in pregnancy and postpartum, characterized in pregnant women by presenting high blood pressure, which if not detected and treated in time can trigger serious and even fatal complications for both the mother and the baby. Today in our country there is a latent virus, Covid-19, in which this group of pregnant patients is vulnerable to this infection if the corresponding controls are not in place. The present case study aims to apply the nursing care process in a 29-year-old preeclampsia patient with 34 weeks of gestation infected by covid-19 in the gynecology area of the Martin Icaza General Hospital. The assessment to be carried out is through functional patterns, in order to determine the altered patterns and thus meet the needs that are within our competencies, through a care plan, prioritizing those that require immediate attention and put the mother binomial at risk and child, thus contributing to maintaining the health of pregnant women and reducing the mortality rate in the country. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
