dc.description.abstract | En el presente caso clínico se tratará la hiperbilirrubinemia de un recién nacido en el cual se observa reflejado por el signo de coloración amarillenta en la piel y en las escleróticas también llamada ictericia, la presente investigación tiene como finalidad mejorar el estado de salud del niño al culminar su estadía hospitalaria, en el proceso se determinará a que tipo de ictericia pertenece y el tratamiento que deberá seguir el neonato, para normalizar los valores de la bilirrubina en la sangre, se debe mantener en constante monitorización los signos vitales del paciente, hay que observar de manera oportuna y constante el cambio de coloración de la piel con la finalidad de comprobar si el tratamiento esta surgiendo efecto en el neonato y verificando que no exista ninguna reacción alérgica al tratamiento, luego de corroborar que el tratamiento surgió efecto se debe recomendar a la madre lactancia materna exclusiva a libre demanda para el recién nacido, también se debe recordar a la madre que debe realizar exámenes durante un tiempo determinado con el fin de llevar un control de los valores de bilirrubinemia en la sangre. Los valores normales de bilirrubina en sangre: Bilirrubina directa (también llamada conjugada): menos de 0.3 mg/dL (menos de 5.1 µmol/L). Bilirrubina total: de 0.1 a 1.2 mg/dL (de 1.71 a 20.5 µmol/L) por lo que se debe estar pendiente de que esos valores se encuentren dentro de los rangos referenciales normales y que no disminuyan, ni aumenten. | es_ES |
