Hemotorax is conceptualized as the appearance of blood in the pleural cavity that may come from the chest wall, clinical manifestations begin with the presence of chest pain, Hypovolemic shock, cold pale skin anxiety, restlessness, hypotension, tachycardia, dyspnoea, tachypnea, Chest x-ray detects pleural effusions, it is corrected with a surgical procedure called toracocentesis, which is performed with a puncture in the chest cavity to remove fluid from the pleural cavity through a drainage system with the aim of stabilizing its respiratory function and avoiding complications. This clinical case study reveals a 30-year-old patient with thrombosis, his condition evolved to improve his clinical condition. Therefore, the opportunity was had to follow up and check the patient's signs and symptoms through efficient care. The main objective of the study is to apply the nursing process in order to provide the necessary care to patients with hemotorax and achieve rapid recovery, taking into account that the patient underwent toracocentesis defined as a surgical procedure in which a drainage tube is used the blood contained in the chest cavity of the cavity through the tube. This research study through the care carried out, allowed executing the main objectives and in this way developing the indispensable nursing interventions this managed to enrich its clinical picture of aforementioned pathology. It is satisfying to appreciate our work and realize that the patient's life is worth it, so it is necessary to use all the knowledge acquired to achieve our goal of helping the patient's health and obtaining medical discharge as a result.es_ES
