dc.description | This syndrome is a pathology caused by a bacterium that affects the respiratory system, damaging its epithelium and giving rise to episodes of paroxysmal cough which trigger a series of symptoms and complications that can affect the normal course of the patient's life requiring immediate hospitalization. Among the proposed objectives are the nursing assessment to establish the necessary care that should be provided according to the pathology, this assessment is based on two great theorists, firstly defining the 11 functional patterns of Marjory Gordon and the 14 basic needs of Virginia Henderson. in this way to be able to carry out the nursing care process, starting with the diagnosis that I know are non-compliance and deterioration of gas exchange. This case study seeks to serve as an academic contribution to obtain knowledge about the pathology of pertussis syndrome and the care that must be taken for the prompt recovery of the patient. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
