The present case study is directed to a patient in a 38-week pregnant state with a symptomatic picture of five days of evolution presenting sporadic dry cough and unquantified thermal rise, saturating 95%, performing the necessary tests for the diagnosis of acute respiratory failure and positive for PCR, SARS-COV2. During this clinical study, the care plan was applied where each phase of the same was detailed, starting with the evaluation, planning the activities that prioritize the needs of the patient and thus evaluating the appropriate treatment, the patient evolves in a positive way, was discharged in conditions stable and with weekly medical visits.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa enfermedad conocida como Covid 19 o coronavirus que se encuentra con mayor presencia en el transcurso del 2019 hasta la actualidad que desciende de una extensa familia de virus que causan sintomatologías en el tracto respiratorio y afectando a algunos órganos ,su contagio comenzó en la ciudad de Wuhan, Hubei y China terminado el año 2019, a primeros meses del año 2020 comenzó a afectar a países cercano convirtiéndose en una pandemia por lo que su transmisión llego a todos los países del mundo siendo los mas afectados adultos mayores, embarazadas y personas con enfermedades catastrófica. El presente estudio de caso esta dirigido a una paciente en estado gestante de 38 semanas con un cuadro sintomatológico de cinco días de evolución presentando tos seca esporádica y alza térmica no cuantificada, saturando 95%, realizando los exámenes necesarios para el diagnostico de insuficiencia respiratoria aguda y positivo para PCR, SARS-COV2. Durante este estudio clínico se aplico el plan de cuidados donde se detallo cada fase del mismo iniciando con la valoración, planificando las actividades que prioriza las necesidades del paciente y así evaluando el tratamiento adecuado del mismo, paciente evoluciona de modo positivo, recibió alta en condiciones estables y con visitas médicas semanales.es_ES
